Welcome to the South Florida SQL Server User Group website!

Our group has regular monthly meetings, as well as organizes, and/or participates in, many local special events and conferences. Our regular meetings are free and open to anyone who wishes to attend. They currently are on the 1st Wednesday of every month in Fort Lauderdale at Microsoft's office at 6750 North Andrews Avenue, Suite 400, and the 3rd Wednesday of every month in Doral at the Carnival Cruise Lines Conference Center, 3655 NW 87th Avenue. The meetings begin at 6pm with refreshments, then presentations start at 6:30pm. ITPalooza 2014

    This year we will be hosting our 3rd annual Speaker Idol Contest.

    The Format:

    Prepare a SQL topic, you will have about 10-15 minutes for a presentation (depending on the number of contestants) We will have a panel of judges who will select the winner, based on content delivery, samples, and overall presentation.

    SFSSUG is preparing to throw the red carpet and have this event make history at ITPalooza!! Prizes include cash and much more anticipated giveaways from our sponsors, along with securing a speaker spot in the SFSS User Group for the 2015 calendar year.

We are always looking for people interested in presenting at our meetings. It doesn't matter if you have never presented before, as long as you are interested in sharing your knowledge of the SQL Server family of products, or related technology.
